Posted by admin on April 27th, 2009

We were able to give $70 to March of Dimes for the March of Dimes March for Babies Walk at SC4 on Sunday, April 21 through 96.9 FM WBTI! THANK YOU to the following eBayers who won items for this give - dsikes, ne1outthere, oshun5-half, scootermax427.

Our next give will be towards another free food giveaway with Cross Current Church on Friday, May 29. Any money that comes in from auctions up until that day will go towards feeding the Blue Water Area community! We will also be personally giving away a new Beanie Baby friend to each child that goes through the line that day!

March of Dimes March for Babies Walk…

Alright, the next “give” has been decided!

As I was listening to 96.9 FM, I heard about the March of Dimes March for Babies Walk at St. Clair County Community College on Sunday, April 26. The hosts of 96.9’s morning show, Sean Michaels and Erin Taylor, are walking in it and accepting donations for the event through the station’s website. To make it a little more fun, they’re having a little competition about who can get the most online donations. So any proceeds that come in by the evening of Saturday, April 25, I will be donating through the link on the WBTI website. And just to make it a little more interesting, I’ll be donating through the link for whichever one of them is behind in their online donations contest on Saturday evening. :^)

I’ve listed some more items to raise more for this cause so check them out! There’s a lot of 13 #1 Comic Books + 37 More from Marvel/Image/Caliber, a lot of 5 Bronze Age Archie Comic Books, a lot of 8 Vintage Music/Song Books and a Staples Brand Laminating Machine.
